The Service

If you are about to roll-out a new application, you probably need answers to at least three questions:

• How will the new system affect the performance of existing systems?
• Do the network or servers need upgrading to cope with the additional load?
• Will response times for the new application meet expectations?

Performance projections are based on data collected from a test lab, development environment, UAT environment or limited live pilot. The projections can be modeled, or simulated using stress test techniques - see Application STRESS TEST+.

The service assesses the impact of the new application on your network and server infrastructure, and predicts the performance of the new application.

• Comprehensive report - including details of recommended upgrades, details of identified changes to optimise application performance, and the collected data presented in tables and charts.
• Excel-based bandwidth calculator (optional) - enabling you to project the bandwidth for any number of users.
• Excel-based response time calculator (optional) - enabling you to project transaction response times for differing network specifications (bandwidth and latency).
